Wildfires in California

On January 7, strong Santa Ana winds in Los Angeles caused wildfires to spread rapidly across several communities. Thousands of homes and businesses have been destroyed, as well as multiple local United Methodist Churches. 

United Methodist Response

The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) in actively preparing to support relief and recovery efforts once the fires have been contained. United Methodists are encouraged to pray for all those who have been impacted and to give.
