Vacation Bible School 2021

July 5 - 9, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Embark on an epic quest through hidden ruins, ancient caves, and dense jungles. At Treasured VBS, kids dig into action-packed, faith-filled adventures. They’ll discover God’s greatest treasure isn’t diamonds, gems, or gold–it's them!

This year's in-person program will include: crafts, games, music, storytelling, and snack.

To ensure everyone's safety we are implementing a variety of safety protocols, which are described below. As guidance from State and Local government continues to evolve over the coming months, we may be able to adjust some of the safety protocols. Updates will be provided to those who are registered.

Safety Protocols

To ensure everyone's safety, the following protocols will be strictly observed without exception:

  • VBS will be held mostly outdoors

  • Everyone must bring and wear a mask

  • Social distancing between families of at least 6-feet

  • Attendance will be limited to current Virginia guidelines for outdoor gatherings

  • Attendees must confirm health status questions upon arrival (see below)

Health Status Questions

When you arrive, the following questions will be presented on a poster for each participant to acknowledge. If you cannot affirm each question, please do not attend that morning so as to protect others.

  1. I have not had 2 or more of the following symptoms of COVID-19 in the past 14 days (fever, shortness of breath or difficulty, breathing, chills, persistent cough, flu-like symptoms, diarrhea or intestinal upset, fatigue, sore throat, headache, muscle pain, recent loss of taste or smell)

  2. I have not been in contact with anyone experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 (identified in #1) in the past 14 days.

  3. I have not tested positive for COVID-19, nor am I awaiting test results, nor have I tested positive and have not subsequently had complete resolution of COVID-19 symptoms.

  4. I will immediately notify the pastor if, after attending this event, I develop 2 or more symptoms of COVID-19, will avoid contact with others, and will seek medical attention.
