Maundy Thursday

Maundy Thursday is the first of the three days of solemn remembrance of the events of Jesus passion and crucifixion of Jesus.  The word "Maundy" comes from the Latin mandatum, which means "commandment."  On this day we remember how Jesus washed his disciples' feet, shared in his final meal, and gave them a new commandment to love one another.
