Mission Sunday

We are trying something new!  On Sunday, Sep 15 we will join forces with the members of Annandale UMC in a hands-on mission project called “Rise Against Hunger” to package 15,000 nutritious meals that will be used in global disaster relief and other situations of hunger. We will have an abbreviated 40-minute worship service that Sunday and then deploy to Annandale UMC (1.5 miles away) where we will package meals from 12-2 pm. Everyone from the age of 4 to 104 is welcome to participate, as tasks are suitable for people of all ages and abilities. Pizza and light refreshments will be provided.
